MIKU are made by Chinese EV giants, SUNRA. It’s based on the same motor and running gear as the SUNRA, has 2 72v batteries and a 3,000w motor, plus a range of up to 85 miles. It also qualifies for the plug in grant so isn’t too expensive.
#SUNRA Miku Super and #Robo-S 2021Brand new for the UK market, we were at the launch of the SUNRA electric Robo-S scooter & #MikuSuper motorcycle recently. Equivalent to a 125cc scooter, these electric commuter scooters have chucked away the rule book and brought in fingerprint scanning, 4 hour charge time from a plug, and loads of underseat storage at a budget price – perfect commuter stuff!
China’s no.1 EV brand, #SUNRA, has launched four small capacity #electric #scooters in the UK with two styles of 50cc equivalent and two at 125cc level. The larger two have two batteries and are known as the MIKU Super (the more Monkey bike looking machine which you’d straddle) and the ROBO-S, which is a more conventional scooter style. Both are less than £3500.
Electric two-wheelers are a rapidly growing market in the UK, and when I got invited to attend the launch event of SUNRA UK (with their global operations producing over 4 million units a year, and being established for over 20 years) I jumped at the chance of testing two learner-friendly electric scooters, albeit one looks more like a motorcycle.
New player to the European two-wheeler scene, SUNRA have just released their Robo S 125cc equivalent electric scooter in the UK. If you’re not familiar with the name, it’s because they’re new to the UK, but they’ve been making electric vehicles in China since 1999 – and build around four million machines a year.
The SUNRA Robo S is a well priced, long range nippy electric scooter.
SUNRA has launched its electric mopeds in the UK. The Chinese electric scooter manufacturer has today announced that its two vehicles will be sold within the Greater London area and is looking to expand its reach throughout the country via its approved dealer network.
